From the village, the journey up to the chalet becomes an experience in itself! Whether you drive yourself or we pick you up, your journey will take you into the forest, among the pines, larches and wild animals. Your adventure begins here!
Whether you are looking for a romantic break in the Alps, wanting to see in the new year in a chalet surrounded by snow or just seeking an alternative destination, the Baita del Cain is easy to get to either on your own or with our transfer service. The jeep transfer is included in the price! Or, if you decide to hire an off-road vehicle for greater independence, there is plenty of space for car parking.
Leave the A22 motorway at the San Michele all’Adige exit and follow signs for the Val di Non. When you get to Fondo, if you want, we can come and collect you!
Take the train to Trento, the regional capital. From there a number of buses or local trains run to the Val di Non.
The nearest international airport is Verona whilst Bergamo Orio al Serio is well served by low-cost operators. Other convenient airports include Venice, Treviso and Milan.
Baita del Cain, your Alpine chalet. Trentino is a rural and verdant region, our chalet is surrounded by forests which create a fairytale atmosphere. The perfect place to get away from it all, as you will soon realise. The last 3 km to the chalet are through the pine forest. An authentic immersion in our little Alpine world!
The cost for the exclusive rental of the chalet is €850.00 per night during high season (from 15 December to 15 January and on months of July and August) is €750.00 per night for the remaining period of the year. A 2 night minimum is required.
